ANTs Intermodality Intrasubject Registration

Function

Specialized registration between different imaging modalities within the same subject.

Modality: Two different-modality volumes from the same subject (e.g., T1 + T2, or T1 + EPI).

Typical Use: T1-to-T2, fMRI-to-T1, or DWI-to-T1 within-subject alignment.

Key Parameters

-d (dimension), -i (input modality 1), -r (reference modality 2), -o (output prefix), -t (transform type)

Key Points

Uses mutual information cost function appropriate for cross-modal registration.
